Two collectors and one very cluttered table
Los Pollos Pulls started the way most of these do — a couple of friends who kept buying cards, kept ending up with doubles worth more than they paid, and figured other people might want a crack at the good ones.
The name is a joke. The cards are not. We built this around one rule: nothing goes in a box that we wouldn't be happy to pull ourselves. That rule is why our margins are worse than our competitors' and why people keep coming back.
How we build
Sourcing
We buy at regional shows, from collections, and off sealed wax. Autographs are bought certified or pulled by us — we don't take consignment from strangers, because we can't verify it.
Grading & valuation
Every chase card gets checked against recent comps before it's assigned a tier. Values on the chase list are real sale prices, not asking prices.
Collation
Boxes are built one at a time by hand. Chase cards are seeded on camera. Nothing is machine-packed, and no third party touches a box between our table and your mailbox.
Packing
Hits are sleeved and top-loaded. Slabs get bubble-wrapped. Everything ships in a rigid mailer with tracking, because we've all received that one crushed envelope.

Straight answers
Are repacks actually worth it?
Honestly? Sometimes yes, usually no — and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. You're buying entertainment with a real shot at a great card. We publish our full chase list and stated odds so you can decide with actual numbers instead of hype.
How do I know the chase cards are really in there?
We film every seeding session and post them. If you order a box, ask and we'll send you the clip of your specific build before it ships. It's the only way this business works long-term.
What counts as a 'hit'?
An autograph, a memorabilia/relic card, a serial-numbered parallel, or a professionally graded slab. Base cards and common inserts never count toward a guaranteed hit number, no matter how nice the player is.
Can I return a box?
Unopened boxes can be returned within 14 days for a full refund. Once it's opened we can't take it back — that's the nature of a randomized product. If a box is missing a guaranteed hit, email us and we'll fix it immediately.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, worldwide. International orders ship tracked and insured; duties are the buyer's responsibility. Larger builds get signature confirmation automatically.
Is this gambling?
It's a randomized retail product, like a pack of cards from any hobby shop. You always receive the stated number of cards and hits. That said: only spend what you'd be happy spending on a fun night. Must be 18+ to buy.
